I think discussions on MC & MF get muddled between 2 different groups of networkers who ideally would interconnect but don't as much as I would like to see as an amateur but passionate believer in empowerment up maps

1 those interested in running
a bank, albeit a microcredit one whose customers have never been served by a bank before, and where the bank wants to invest
in productivity not addicting you to debt/consumption
2 those interested in developing a community however long it takes to move those poorest in the world communities from the edge of survival to sustainability -ie putting poverty in a museum 1 2
